AJ Smith Eagle Scout 11/11/2007

AJ began his journey at about 91/2. He joined Cub Pack 717 as a Webelo. He earned his Arrow of Light. He earned every pin that a Webelo could earn.

He went to Boy Scout Camp with Troop 247 for the first time at 10 and 1/2. He quickly made it to Life Scout. He earned 55 Merit Badges. He held many positions within the troop. At 13 he had met all the requirements to become an Eagle Scout. Due to mix up in paper work and distractions he almost missed the chance.

In the true Boy Scout fashion he did a good turn that put him in touch with some one who would not let the thing stop.

At a few days before his 18th birthday he completed his Eagle Project. I am proud to Say that My SON IS AN EAGLE SCOUT.

A young Anthony Smith

This is for all those who don't believe I was once small.

This was taken about the time I became interested in genealogy, I didn't know to call it that at the time.
